About Us

Dilettante Digest was born of a simple idea: what if there were somewhere where you could ask interesting questions to someone with the time and (probably?) expertise to answer it well, but where the answer weren't so boring that you wish you hadn't asked it in the first place?  What if there were a place that nested horribly syntactically complicated clauses inside an answer the writer claimed would be simple?  The second question is purely rhetorical. The first question, however, has an answer: now there is one.  

Dilettante Digest is a place for people to talk about, and ask questions about, stuff that interests them, and expect funny and informative answers in return. So, ask away, joke away, but, more than anything, sit back, have fun, and digest.
